    A special thanks to Janice Harrison for providing the following recordings.   These recordings were made live at State Band Contest in Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 1964.  Notice the cannons in the recording of the 1812 Overture.  They were made by firing 12 gage shotguns into 55 gallon drums.  Great stuff here.
